"1054 km" kicks off with a long hypnotic piece that nods to the post-rock era when it was led by TORTOISE. The group then presents a series of quasi-instrumental tracks, each seemingly constructed around its own hypnotic pattern. There's a cinematic atmosphere with captivating kraut-rock undertones. Derrière ce duo brestois au nom qui fleure bon la promesse non tenue se cache un projet d'AURÉLIEN, véritable stakhanoviste du paysage musical DIY français. "1054 km" démarre avec un long morceau hypnotique qui semble faire des clins d'oeil au post-rock du temps où il était incarné par TORTOISE. Le groupe ensuite enchaîne les quasi instrumentaux singuliers, chacun semblant construit autour d'un pattern hypnotique bien à lui, mais qui dégagent une ambiance cinématographique aux relents kraut-rock particulièrement entêtants.
